My prediction of the current North Korean negotiations outcome

Although I hope it will be different, I predict that the current negotiations over the North Korean buclear weapons program will repeat history. North Korea will come in with their laundry list of demands which they expect to have a greater ability to extort with their successful nuclear detonation. The USA will come in with, hopefully, the usual stance that we will no longer cave into North Korea's blackmail tactics like in the past and hold firm that North Korea has to disarm permanently before anything else is discussed. The end result will be a breakoff in the talks, and hopefully this time, it will allow UN sanctions with greater teeth like the crackdown on banks associated with North Korea's counterfeiting operations have taken.
